A Visual Artist is basically somebody that creates graphics that are published in newspapers, magazines and other print media. Those folks are also known as Graphic Artists, Infographic Artists or Visual Journalists or Reporters, although this last two denominations have a different meaning by themselves as I will explain latter. It's a profession as old as print media and extremely unknown to the general public.
